Limited Warranty
Registration of your product is required in order to receive warranty
service. Go to www.lasermax.com/Service/RegisterWarranty.aspx to
fill out the registration form.
The product that you have purchased is subject
to the terms of this limited warranty. This limited
warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you
may also have other rights, which vary from State
to State. The product you purchased is warranted to
be free from defects in material and workmanship
at the time of purchase. This limited warranty
does not cover expendable parts (i.e. batteries),
because they have definite and predictable life
expectancies and should be replaced by you, to
protect the product and preserve your warranty.
This limited warranty also does not cover damages
due to equipment or parts, which upon inspection
are determined by LaserMax to have become
defective after the date of purchase due to abuse,
misuse, etc. The coverage of this limited warranty
begins on the date of purchase and ends 5 years
after the date of purchase. This limited warranty
is extended only to the original purchaser of the
product and is not transferable. To be eligible for
warranty coverage you as the original purchaser
of the product must register the product in our
warranty registration system at www.lasermax.
com within 90 days of your original purchase. To
make a warranty claim you must make a warranty
repair request no later than the date that is five
(5) years from the date of purchase and obtain a
return authorization number from our Warranty
Department at 1-800-LASER-03. Once you have
made a warranty claim, LaserMax will inspect
the product to determine whether it is eligible for
warranty coverage. If eligible, LaserMax will repair
or replace the part(s)/product that LaserMax, in its
sole discretion, determines to be defective during
the warranty period. If not eligible, LaserMax will
return the part(s)/product to you and inform you
why coverage is not available. LaserMax reserves the
right to substitute equivalent product replacement at
its discretion.
Any and all implied warranties, including the
implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for
a particular purpose, and non-infringement also
begin on the date of purchase and end 5 years after
the date of purchase. Some States do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts,
so the above limitation may not apply to you. The
foregoing is your exclusive remedy and LaserMax’
exclusive liability for any warranty claim. LaserMax
will not, under any circumstances, be liable for
any incidental, indirect, consequential, punitive or
exemplary damages (even if LaserMax has been
notified of the possibility of such damages) resulting
from or related to a product including, without
limitation, any loss of profits, or loss of opportunity,
or damages in excess of your purchase price for
the product. Some States
do not allow the exclusion
or limitation of incidental
or consequential damages,
so the above limitation or
exclusion may not apply to
you.
Infrared gunsights are regulated by the US Department of
State in accordance with the export control guidelines in
the International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) per title 22, Code of
Federal Regulations (CFR), Parts 120-130.
Initial Installation
A first-time installation typically takes about 20 minutes or less. Subsequent
installations and battery replacements can be accomplished in less than a minute.
LaserMax always strives to bring you superior technology. Please let us know what
you think of your LaserMax Guide Rod Laser by taking a moment to fill out your
registration at www.LaserMax.com. Thank you from all of us at LaserMax.
Batteries
Replacements are available from your dealer or direct from us. DO NOT remove
shrink wrap from the LaserMax battery packs (for Standard and Compact GLOCKS,
three Duracell 393 batteries may be used in place of LaserMax battery packs/for
Subcompact GLOCKS four Energizer 319 or equal batteries may be used).
For longer battery life, avoid getting finger oils on the battery contact surfaces.
Operating temperature range for batteries is from 14 degrees F to 120 degrees F.
LaserMax recommends keeping a fresh set of batteries for carry and using older
batteries for practice.
Troubleshooting
Review installation instructions and install a second time to eliminate human error.
Pull slide back and allow it to slam forward two or three times to ensure contact.
Check batteries. Is the + side up? Are they clean and free from oil?
If using loose batteries, is the + side up on all of them?
Check the battery cap. Is there a gold contact pin?
Is the slide lock/laser switch installed correctly? Excessive lubricant can insulate
the gun parts and break the circuit.
If there is still a problem, call the LaserMax Gunsight Technical Support and
Warranty Department at 1-800-LASER-03. Technical assistance is available from
9am to 5pm EST Monday thru Friday. You can also find video assistance by visiting
www.lasermax.com/Learn/Videos.aspx.
If the sight has to be returned for repair, call our Warranty Department for a return
authorization number BEFORE sending the sight. LaserMax will not be responsible
for items returned without authorization. Do not return any parts or accessories
not requested by the Warranty Department.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The window on the muzzle end of laser may become smoked-over during firing.
To clean, MAKE SURE PISTOL IS UNLOADED AND THE LASER IS OFF. Clean
